Also, I don't care about trends: jeans/trousers with tapered legs are not flattering on pretty much every body shape I've seen wear them. If this really is a trend that's coming (I've seen more and more tragically tapered jeans walking around town), then I'm very happy to be untrendy.

Date: 2006-08-21 05:52 pm (UTC)hehe Yeah, but I don't wear regular jeans--never. *g* I only wear these stretchy ones with the elastic waist, and that's it. I suppose they are "old lady" jeans, but I like them and they are slightly better than wearing sweatpants around everywhere. *g*

LOL But the ones I tried on...they're more like those body shirts from the 70s. They are clingy and tight, so they show every bump on your hips or whatever.
I've seen a few younger girls who could pull that off, but they seem to wear two t-shirts: one longer one and one shorter one over it. It's an odd look. But what about us old ladies? *g* (And I mean me, not you. *g*) Except older shirts on clearance, I couldn't find any that weren't this long & clingy type.
