Also, I don't care about trends: jeans/trousers with tapered legs are not flattering on pretty much every body shape I've seen wear them. If this really is a trend that's coming (I've seen more and more tragically tapered jeans walking around town), then I'm very happy to be untrendy.

Straight leg jeans are always made somehwere.

hehe Yeah, but I don't wear regular jeans--never. *g* I only wear these stretchy ones with the elastic waist, and that's it. I suppose they are "old lady" jeans, but I like them and they are slightly better than wearing sweatpants around everywhere. *g*

Word on the big shirts. I might as well put on a frigging muumuu.

LOL But the ones I tried on...they're more like those body shirts from the 70s. They are clingy and tight, so they show every bump on your hips or whatever.

I've seen a few younger girls who could pull that off, but they seem to wear two t-shirts: one longer one and one shorter one over it. It's an odd look. But what about us old ladies? *g* (And I mean me, not you. *g*) Except older shirts on clearance, I couldn't find any that weren't this long & clingy type. [livejournal.com profile] lyraeinne also didn't like them, even though she's thin and has a lovely figure, and she also hasn't been able to find any shirts that she likes for going-back-to-school clothes.
