All weekend long, I would think of something I need to do, get up to go do it and then do something else entirely. Meanwhile, I'd forget what I'd originally gotten up to do until I sat back down again. Lather, rinse, repeat all weekend.

A week ago I searched for a supernatural creature to use, and ran across one that's MO is to steal maidens to provide for fairy babies. It wasn't what I needed then, but it's what I need now and I can't friggin' find it!

I'm very annoyed.

I have been doing the same thing, but for weeks now. It's gotten to the point where I have to write down what I'm going to do before I get up. And now, I'm not exaggerating.

I believe you. I'm usually not a scattered person, but, man, it's really annoying to find you've made the bed when what you'd really set out to do was get some Tylenol for your aching head.
