I did no work today, but I did
-walk 4.5 miles
-hike 245 stairs (not counting at work)
-crunch my abs 200 times
-all sorts of fun arm-toning exercise thingies
-eat two giant, jumbo chocolate chunk cookies, thereby cancelling out all the good stuff I did
Go me?

Date: 2006-03-26 10:49 am (UTC)It seems to be working on tummy, hips and thighs. My arms, as usual, are very resistant to treatment. *sigh*

Date: 2006-03-26 06:12 am (UTC)Excersise is good for your body whatever you eat.
Chocolate cookies are food for your soul.
Don't worry so much, all the excercising you do is great but if you are miserable and hungry, then what's the bloody point?
Spoil yourself, eat the cookies with relish, delight and savour them. Don't feel guilty about THEM but be accomplished over the crunches and stair work.
Perspective hon is the key....

Date: 2006-03-26 10:51 am (UTC)Will definitely keep this in my mind! As long as I don't eat the bad stuff in excess (2 jumbo cookies was pushing it. If I paced myself, I probably could have enjoyed 1/2 a cookie), I think I'll be okay.
I still think your eye icon/banner is just the coolest thing!

Remember excess is the problem - if you overdo your exercising your body will let you know, so try and listen when it's telling you about you food. Listen to your body and not your brain or your guilt complex - relax hon.
