When you go to dust off an in-progress fic and discover you can't remember at all where you were going?

Oh, where was this going? )

Tell me why

How can I crank out three kiss fics for kissemdanno in the span of a few days, but the three things I've signed up for, with deadlines, I cannot get motivated to write?

Those fics have been added to master list, fyi. I love one of them a bit too much.

Long Distance Operator. S/D, first kiss. PG. 3159 words. Steve meets Danny's mom. They get along. She has motives. On LJ On AO3
Trapped in the Amber of the Moment. S/D, first kiss, trapped!. PG-13. 2295 words. Steve and Danny, trapped and discovering very important things. On LJ On AO3
The Indiana Jones Playbook. S/D, established relationship, schmoop. PG-13. 1812 words. Steve's recuperating from some injuries. Danny is providing excellent care. On LJ On AO3

Ah, it's [community profile] spn_summergen time! I am signing up, but as per usual am having the dickens of a time coming up with plot prompts that I'd like. That's the problem with writing but not always (or, ever) reading in a fandom. I don't know how that happened - I used to read SPN like mad, and then I just ... stopped. Might have been wading through a LOT of stuff I don't care for and getting frustrated at how few nice MotW stories there are out there when the show is excellent fodder for them instead of so many we're only in it for the sex! stories.

Wah wah, I know.

Anyway, if anyone has any bunnies lying around and would like to see them written - prompt away! LOL, let me steal them! ;)

Also, I really have to get cracking on my Big Bang. Like, I'd wanted it to be written before the summergen prompts are distributed. To date, I still don't know if I'm going to write:

--Casefic wherein the boys encounter a Chinese god of death (see: fleshing out Kung Pow)

--AUfic wherein the boys are firefighters in the 1970s. Ahem. Yeah. My E!Muse is showing. ;)

Me: I forgot it's St. Patrick's Day today. I didn't wear green.
S: I didn't either. The only thing green I've got are my eyes.
Me: Your eyes are green? I'd never noticed.
S: Yep.
(Looking at me closely.)
S: Hey, your eyes are green, too, but they're a bit darker than mine.
Me: Yep. (My eyes are green and hazel - as in the actual reddish-brown color - and are more appropriately categorized as hazel, but...)

See, all y'all fic writers - generally, people don't notice eye color unless they're specifically looking. It's slightly different if someone's got exotic-looking eyes, I think, but on the whole? Not necessarily a defining feature. Please don't use the epithet "the green-eyed man..." or anything like it. In fact, you could do without many epithets at all. Names are fine. They're meant to be used.

Also, please trust me when I tell you that viscous and vicious are not interchangeable. If you don't trust me, grab a dictionary.
