And outside every grocery store. Be warned, folks. The Girl Scouts are out, and their cunning knows no bounds. I successfully avoided the bell ringing shouters downtown. The stand at which only a bedraggled adult sat, I passed right on by.

But the little munchkins outside Trader Joe's got me but good. Damn them!

Now, I could complain here about how ridiculous the price of a box of GS cookies is, but honestly - go down the cookie aisle. There are few cookies there of any quality that are more than 50¢ less. It chaps my hide that we're now paying $4/box.

Every single frozen Thin Mint will be worth it. Oh, yes.

Thank heavens my daughter is no longer doing Girl Scouts. We don't have to sell those damned cookies anymore! Yay! Or march in that freezing, often wet interminable Xmas parade! Or do Thinking Day! Or...yeah, I think we BOTH needed a break from the relentless Girl Scouts (although I do think it's a very worthwhile organization, it does get tiresome after a while)
