I wish Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds was a real person and she was my friend. I have a girl-crush on her.

I wish I understood The Big Give. It just seems so WRONG to make philanthropy a competition with a $1,000,000 pot. I don't care if the "contestants" don't know there's something in it for the "winner." It is just WRONG to have a winner in the first place.

I wish, wish, WISH the CW would not remake 90210. Please, leave it alone. We've been inundated with tripe revolving around vapid, white, rich kids quite enough since that originally aired. (I'm still looking at you, CW, and your stupid Gossip Girl and tendency to muck up/dumb down SPN.)

I wish my Thursday night fake TV boyfriends would come back already.

I wish Reaper would die a fiery death.

I wish the new BSG would stop getting pimped so fucking much.

I wish networks would give shows more than 1 episode to prove their worth.

I wish Daniel Jackson had never bulked up with muscle (yes, I said it).

I wish Jack O'Neill had never turned into a doofus.

I wish reality TV would die a fiery death.

I wish I knew why Rachael Ray is so popular.

I don't understand either.
He's flashy, certain of himself, loud, very in your face and the teeth are slightly scary. Usually the certain way to put me off.

I still think he's great fun!

But there is more to Torchwood than Captain Jack. I just really enjoy what they are doing with the show and it is so nice to have producers, directors, writers and actors all LOVE and care about what they are making!

But to each their own. For me Supernatural doesn't work cuz the pretties are just not my type.;-) I'm sure it is still a great show.

For me, it was the tendency to show more flesh in the hopes people would be distracted enough to see how the quality of writing downward spiraled. "Who cares if that didn't make sense - look, over there! Flesh! Flesh! MORE flesh!"

Jealous Daniel is so cute, though.

Now I have to run. Someone just phoned me to tell me I dropped an s in one word of minutes I prepared and I must to fix it right now. ::rolls eyes::

I must admit, it's a toss up which I'd prefer, more arm porn and pec porn vs. expecting those PTB to actually give good story. Sometimes shallow's all ya got. :-)

I should have qualified it: if I started out watching just to ogle, I'm cool with it. If I started out watching for much more than eye candy, I get bored and frustrated.

I totally agree with all your statements from "Reaper" on.

Especially the one about Daniel. That muscle just never made sense on him. A field archeologist would have some muscle tone from, like, actually working in the field. That's different from Big Fake Gym Look At Me Muscles.

Also, I think MS looked better that way.

In person, MS didn't look too muscular, but it totally didn't translate on screen. That whole camera adding weight thing, a phenomenon I just don't get.

Yeah, it's something to do with the type of lens or size of picture they film TV in. The solution has always been for actors to lose weight. Why can't they friggin' change their equipment settings? Change whatever HAS to be changed to make it work?

Or, you know, just get over it.

This really bugs me too and while I like the show, it's not the only decent SciFi around but it is sucking all the press. I don't know why i find the whole thingk so unfair.

As for the rest of your list I miss goofy, geekly, long haired Daniel, too.

The amount of press makes me angry on SPN's behalf - isn't that weird. i feel like shaking these reporters going - Hey look over there it's a better show called Supernatural.
