I love Simon & Garfunkel and I don't care who knows it.

I Am A Rock has been an anthem for me at times.

And a rock feels no pain.
And an island never cries.

ETA: Now I've switched to another oldie but goodie - Fats Domino. I love I'm Gonna Be a Wheel Someday too much for it to be healthy.

I'm gonna be a wheel someday, I'm gonna be somebody.

Hee. It's no wonder I love artists like Iron & Wine.

Simon and Garfunkel were played in my house a lot when I was a kid - they generally weren't a blip on my parents' censorship radar.

I love Simon & Garfunkel, too. I've been a fan since I was a young girl. I Am a Rock was one of my most favorite songs way back then, and I still love it.

And cool about the real oldies. *g* When I think of oldies, that's what I think of--50s and early 60s music, which was what an oldies radio station played when I was a child. I don't think of late 60s/classic rock to be "oldies" or 80s music either. *g*
