Was Fraiser wearing one of those special vests during Heroes? I can't recall and don't think I can bear finding the DVD and watching the episode again.

Yeah, I found those as well and couldn't tell. It would make sense for her to be wearing one, but it wasn't obvious just from screen caps and we all know Stargate's PTB aren't exactly logical.

Too true. She should have been wearing one just because she was going into an unknown situation in the field. From the pic she's wearing a jacket and you could say it was under there if anyone quibbles.

I think she might have, but don't quote me on it. I haven't watched those eps much.

But I do know it was stated within the two parter that it wasn't known just how effective the vests would be.

Hmmm. My inclination is to have her wearing one, because it really doesn't make sense that they'd send their CMO into a battlefield without one. Of course, I don't think I buy that they'd send her out there in any situation that could be or was recently very hot.

That whole situation was stupid.

I do seem to recall that she was shot in the neck, the point of which would seem to be it's above the vest's protection. Which would suggest she wore one.

She is SO not dying in my rewrite. Not sure what I'm going to do instead, but I'm keeping her.

I still hate that they killed her. But then, I also cannot figure out what brainiac thought it would be just peachy to kill Daniel off and replace him with Mr. Cardboard.
