The Blame Game

Also, to the friggin' morons who feel the need to assign blame for what happened at Virginia Tech - you're all dumb.
At the top of the list are those who think anyone anti-gun is, at the heart of it all, responsible. For, after all, if Va. Tech had not banned guns on campus, a teacher or perhaps one or two of the students being slaughtered would have been able to shoot the tormented gunman and saved lives. (We'll not even consider that by having multiple weapons drawn on a scene by people not clearly identified (e.g., in a uniform), more chaos would ensue. How could you be sure your gun-toting neighbor wasn't really an accomplice? You couldn't say for sure, and you'd probably shoot him just to be on the safe side, before he shot you. Of course, the gun-toting neighbor on your other side would have made the same assessment of you, and shot you anyway. Oy.)
I wasn't going to talk about the shootings, really, but the above illogic just really pisses me off.
