I take it all back. The clothes I tried to cancel arrived today and they all fit. Huzzah! I still need new shoes for work, though. Brown and black loafers or something to go with trousers. I like my current brown pair, but the 3 inch heel is very uncomfortable and I'm not fooling anyone into thinking I'm tall.

Oh good. I'm glad it worked out in the end.

I'm planning on buying a new pair of brown shoes myself. My current pair are old, scuffed and starting to fall apart.

I used to love shoe shopping. I still love shoes, but I swear every time I go into a department store I get ignored by the salespeople forEVER and end up getting frustrated and leaving.

It's always nice when clothes fit! Especially when you order them. I'm impressed by the 3 inch heel. I don't think I've ever worn a 3 inch heel in my life. I'm definitely a Birkenstock girl. Birkenstocks or hiking boots--that's about the highest heel I get.

I actually have to take it back a little - one of the tops I got is monstrously large on me. It amazes me that sometimes I'm one size and sometimes I'm another...in the same store. I know most of the stuff gets made all over the place (in sweatshops, most likely :( ), but you'd think there'd be a little more consistency. Ah, well.

I used to wear heels a lot. While I really do like how my legs look in them and the illusion of height, I just don't think those things are worth foot pain, backaches and shortening of my calf muscles. ;)
