View from the top and some randomness

I think hsapiens has a salient point, even if it wasn't what was intended. Do I really want to live in a place that looks like it's not going to offer any good scenery? I mean, the apartment I saw this afternoon has a really cool view of the mountain from the kitchen window (ENORMOUS kitchen, btw), but the manager's iffy and the only other person I saw was...not cute, but I'm fairly certain he thought I was. Hmmmmm. ;)

Just kidding. I wouldn't really not move somewhere just because it lacked eye candy.

The apartment itself was okay. Probably about the same size as the "one bedroom" I saw last week, so at least they're listing it properly. Building's old and musty inside. Kitchen's huge, bathroom's good sized but has terrible lighting. The neighborhood? Looks to be in flux. Three years ago, I probably would have been scared to live there. Today, I'm still scared to park my car there.

What I really want is to win Mega Millions and buy myself a nice Craftsman.
