Woooo hooo!

The loveseat I was told would take about 2 months to arrive is coming next Friday - only about a month after I picked it out. I'm so excited for its arrival and for the fact I don't have to take time off work to mill around the house; the office is closed next Friday, and except for me going to work in a soup kitchen, my day is free.

I'm also just plain looking forward to stretching out on my new furniture instead of having limited comfort in the el cheapo Target disk chair I've been sitting in, which is going in the trash when the loveseat arrives (I kinda broke it. Moo.).

No bows please

Why do shoe manufacturers insist on marring perfectly lovely shoes with bows? Along with my champagne sandals, I caved and bought a pair of coral colored sandals. I have nothing to wear them with, but that'll resolve itself. The sandals are adorable, really, except they came with honking huge bows right in the middle of them.

I just spent half an hour trying to cut the bows off without damaging the rest of the shoes, successfully. The sandals are MUCH cuter now. I have more motivation to find something with which to wear them. Yay.

In other very important news, I bought some new nail polish for my toes. Got it home and...realized it was the exact same color I bought for LAST spring/summer. D'oh! Have also just finished doctoring my nail polish collection by mixing colors. I love doing that. More bang for my buck.]

ETA: Holy crap I need a life if this is how I spend my Saturday evenings.
