(no subject)

I missed my bus this morning, which is pretty inexcusable considering the stop is exactly half a block away from my house. I wore my hair in a ponytail today...and was distracted by the white hairs wearing my hair back reveals. Yes, I missed the bus because I was plucking out my white hairs.

Maybe coloring isn't such a bad idea.

BORED

Why is it that on the days I'm super bored and unmotivated (I'm usually unmotivated, but usually work through it and accomplish lots) there's no one else around?

I'm craving Tator Tot Hotdish.

ETA evidence of boredom: I just wondered how it was even possible for a person to not have any moles whatsoever on his or her back. Doesn't everyone have a freckle/mole or two? Or am I just Freckle McFreckleson?

Why are thin lips bad?

I don't know why, but lately my Yahoo account seems plagued by an ad for "First Impression", a product that claims to make thin lips plump and luscious. (Please note, this only applies to women. Men don't have to worry about their lips.) Are women really that concerned with the plumpness of their lips?

To answer my own question, I suppose all I have to do is look at women in Hollywood - Lara Flynn Boyle really pops to the fore regarding getting work done to improve the appearance of her lips. For the record, I see no improvement. She looks worse. She looks like it hurts to talk, her lips so puffy now that she even speaks differently than she used to. How is that attractive, and why is that something to shoot for? Why are these lip-plumping products being pushed so heavily?

I don't get it.

I did no work today, but I did

-walk 4.5 miles
-hike 245 stairs (not counting at work)
-crunch my abs 200 times
-all sorts of fun arm-toning exercise thingies

-eat two giant, jumbo chocolate chunk cookies, thereby cancelling out all the good stuff I did
