And outside every grocery store. Be warned, folks. The Girl Scouts are out, and their cunning knows no bounds. I successfully avoided the bell ringing shouters downtown. The stand at which only a bedraggled adult sat, I passed right on by.
But the little munchkins outside Trader Joe's got me but good. Damn them!
Now, I could complain here about how ridiculous the price of a box of GS cookies is, but honestly - go down the cookie aisle. There are few cookies there of any quality that are more than 50¢ less. It chaps my hide that we're now paying $4/box.
Every single frozen Thin Mint will be worth it. Oh, yes.

Date: 2009-03-01 02:16 am (UTC)fond memories of the days when your innocent self was sent out in the wilds of unknown neighborhoods with an order sheet and your itchy uniform to sell those cookies. sure usually a parent would be parked with a book & the window down somewhere in vague sight. but you won't catch a GS or Brownie actually walking the street anymore.
I guess this means I'm going to have to go to walmart, i'm sure they'll be camped (heee) out there.
WANT ME COOKIESSSSSS!
(think i'll go find a cookie monster icon now)
