Seattle itself, I think, is doing mostly all right. The outerlying areas of western Washington are under water, though. And my bedroom. ;)
They temporarily ran a piece of gutter out toward the street, which should help. I think yesterday was the worst of it, though the rains have started again. For a brief hour or two, the sun actually tried to come out. It was pretty strange, to be driving toward the sun but seeing black clouds in my rearview mirror.
PS, awww, Sam and his floppy S1 hair. I still miss S1 hair. Now I think I kind of get why everyone made such a fuss over Daniel cutting his locks off (though with him, I have to say short is better). :)
