You know how when you bake a pie there are always little scraps and strips of pie crust left over so you sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on them and bake them?

I just had the most intense craving for one of those. Buttery, melt in your mouth pie crust bits. Mmmm.

I have been known to make a recipe of pie crust *just* to make those delightful cinnamon-sugar tarts.

MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

That or only bake what you want that day and freeze the rest of the dough in the appropriate sized portions. Pie crust dough freezes pretty well.

For that matter, you could make the tarts and *then* freeze them uncooked. Just pull them out and pop them in the oven.

LOL! Well... here's a thought. Blanch some apples and raisins and put them in the tarts, too. Use Splenda instead of sugar. That'll make it a more nutritious snack.
