Seriously, are all Hollywood writers and producers drinking some kind of drugged water or something?

Saw an ad for the Bones season finale - all about a wedding.
Saw an ad for the Grey's Anatomy season finale - a wedding's the big focus.
Have Boston Legal on, and it started with...a wedding.

Didn't they see that Fox's show all about weddings was a flop?

Give me a demon war any day of the week. Or at least on Thursday.

Speaking of Thursday, why isn't it Thursday yet?

It's very kind of you to wonder if they're drugged, but I'm pretty sure they're just that stupid.

Makes you wonder if these plot lines were known when they wrote 200 for SG1.

"A wedding!"

"Yeah, if you want to *BORE* the audience to death!"

I still can't believe they gave us our slash moment. I just wish they'd left in Jack and Daniel holding hands. I've got my fingers crossed that it'll be on the DVDs.

Well, they giveth and then taketh away, as they had to make a joke out of it and be certain they got the point across that it was Sam and Jack's wedding. Which is par for the course with Bridge.

But she *still* called him "Sir". :-):-)

*That* alone was almost worth the price of admission. ;-)

Maybe some, but I get the feeling it would just creep Jack out.

Which is why Daniel is so appealing... he'd *NEVER* call him 'sir'. :-)

I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't like much if anything out of 200. It's just not funny to me. I've never seen a single episode that was so chock full of loathing and hatred towards fans (as well as the actors) of a show.

I know they've got on the cloak of "it's all in fun" but I think it went beyond stick poking into outright beating fans into a bloody pulp with the stick. Yet another reason why I'm not planning on watching the rest of this season's SGA, and I'm really not wanting to see what they do to the show once Sammikins shows up to save the day.

Um... sorry for the rant. Long day. ;)

I didn't see much of that in it. But everyone's POV is different.

I'm not really looking forward to Sammikins, either, but the trainwreck thing may get me to watch.

As I said, I know I'm in the minority, and most people just picked out the stuff that was funny from their POV, but as an overall picture of what TPTB think of their fans, I thought it was pretty appalling.

I've already seen the Sammikins trainwreck on SG-1 (with a Vala chaser). I don't think I can go through that again, no matter how much I like Hewlett. Maybe it's because of how much I like him, because I think having Sam around will completely destroy what I like about McKay and the show in general.

It probably helps that I've never been a rabid Atlantis fan. I watch it most of the time, but if I miss an ep, it's not a big deal for me to wait for the rerun.

I'm not an Atlantis fan so much as a Hewlett fan. Since for various reasons I think Sam's arrival will affect McKay's storyline adversely, I think I'm going to have to give the whole thing a pass. If I end up hearing good things, I'll catch it later, even if it's just certain "recommended" episodes.

Didn't you know you have to have either a marriage, birth or death or it's just not a season finale? And marriage and birth are happy things (usually), so they're just the bestest finale.

Demon war sounds good to me. We'll sick 'em on the writers who write weddings for the season finales. ;)

I guess we should count ourselves lucky that we're not getting babies at the same time. Of course, that's probably *next* year.

I'd rather have demon wars too.
