B: I wonder if he's dating anyone.
Me: Pretty sure he's not.
B: I swear, he's the sweetest, most shy guy. I'm not used to that. Yesterday he was all nervous asking about my benefits package. Who does that? Someone who's nervous.
Me: Huh. Sometimes he's sweet. I'll tell him you think he's cute.
B: Oh, he knows. I told him yesterday I had a dirty dream about him.
Me: (Shut up, now, that's MY hottie neighbor you're talking about!)
B: I wonder if he wants to ask me out.
Me: (I'm way cuter than you, shut UP!) Maybe you should just ask him.
B: I might just do that.
Me: (Die, die, die! He's not going out with someone named Tina!) Good luck!
Ah, it was awkward and cute and horrible at the same time. Turns out my eyes really are green. ;)
I was going to bring it up and tease him mercilessly later, but I totally chickened out and just grinned at him like a fool when he stopped by the office a moment ago.
