Out of Mind

seanchaidh, I managed to sit through this one. I was going to skip it, because, well, I'm feeling a bit like crap right now.
I actually don't hate Out of Mind. It's a clip show, yeah, but some of the bits in between the totally unbelievable clips (seriously, if you're having a memory, you don't see yourself in those memories...and chances are they're not accompanied by background music) were nice. Kind of. A little.
1) Jack looked hot coming out of cryogenic sleep or whatever it's called. I got the distinct impression he was mimicking a walleye, but I guess I might too in that situation.
2) Daniel with short hair! Hamlet Hair isn't my favorite look, but at this point I'm appreciative of the start. It'll improve with Season 3. :)
3) No fair that Sam gets to cough and talk like normal right out of sleep. Pfft.
4) Jack looks good in white.
5) Sam does not look good in white.
6) I want to see Daniel in white, damnit!
7) The Teal'c/Hammond scenes made this episode, IMO. Teal'c's so damned noble and dedicated to his team, it's inspiring. He rocked this episode.
8) We all should have clued in that The Bad Guy was Hathor. Daniel's laundry list of Goa'uld baddies lingered on hers for lot longer than she merited, given their interactions with others. She got more memory time than Apophis, FCOL. Of course, Daniel might have residual issues that TPTB never actually dealt with when it comes to Hathor...
It wasn't a terrible clip show, but clip shows automatically lose points with me. And now I'm going to go try not to cough, because coughing is really ravaging my poor throat and I already can't speak. I ran into someone I know at the grocery store just now and she looked horrified when I tried to talk. Heh.
