Firefighters just left. Second time in less than a week. I suppose I should take comfort in the fact it wasn't super late this time. I noticed far fewer people actually evacuated their apartments this time, though, which troubles me. I just...you hear a fire alarm, you leave. Period. I don't care if it's a tremendous pain in the backside to do it. A bigger pain would be stuck in your apartment as the building burns down around you, eh?

At least a couple of the firemen were cute this time. ;)

We've had fire drills in a public building and people just refuse to leave because they're "in the middle of something". They don't know it's a drill, but they just figure that they don't smell smoke, so it must be.

We keep flunking our fire drills because we can't get everyone to leave.
