Ellen being given the front seat while Sam was stuck in the back with the brat irked me to no ends--it was like screaming "brother relationship takes a backseat to the new chicks who dominate the show." Then Dean bowing to her shutting off his music--that just wasn't Dean. It wasn't his fault that *either* of them were there. He didn't invite the brat, or her mother. Why the devil were they even driving them back home in the first place?
Yeah, I hope the red herring "love interest" is dead. Honestly, like you, I'd like to see Jo dead just to guarantee it would never resurface.
