WTF Inappropriate

I sat at the bus stop yesterday, same as always. It wasn't overly warm, but I was in the sun and had walked a mile and so was wearing a tank top. Nothing revealing or anything, just a simple tank top.

Also as usual, I avoided eye contact with everyone, though I did glance up at passers by. One guy totally veered from his path and got real close to me...then proceeded to arch his neck so he could get a view right down my shirt! WTF was that? I can't complain too much about stares if what I'm wearing does reveal cleavage, but dude totally crossed the line.

What sucks is they don't have anything for us to oggle in return. Nothing visible to the naked eye, anyway. ;)

I wouldn't have, anyway. My breasts were only visible to the naked eye because he actively sought to ogle them. Oh, okay, they're obvious, and since my waist has slimmed down a little, they're more accentuated. But still.

Some guys do have...packages. I wouldn't ogle this jerk, but another guy has been walking past the bus stop every day this week at the same time. I glance overtly and appreciatively at his butt.

Imagine if women took the liberties guys did. I had a boyfriend once who totally rubber-necked every time we walked by an attractive woman. That's just rude.

I do ogle butts. Strangely, I can't remember the last time I saw a guy with a package around here, but then I'm REALLY starting to wonder if L.A. isn't just the land of Small Penis Compensation, anyway.

I'm afraid if we took the liberties they take, they'd love it. Sometimes the Golden Rule doesn't work. They probably ARE doing unto us as they'd love to have done unto them.

I remember going to a Ren Fest with one of my older sisters. If you've ever been, you know the actors there are usually quite bawdy...one pickle seller was no different. She and he exchanged charged reparte for a bit, and somehow it ended up with him hugging her.

And she completely groped his bum. After the shock wore off, he looked like he enjoyed it immensely. I was amused and quite in awe, IIRC.

There's a line in a tv show I dearly love and it's so apropros.

God gave women breasts for one reason and one reason only -- to nurse children. Now just because some of these children grow up to be men who still see women as their wet nurses just lets us separate the wheat from the chaff.
