Pulp

Last night, I dreamt my brother J. beat me to a pulp. I volunteered to take the pummeling, because he was threatening someone weaker than I am. Later in the dream no one seemed to notice my face was a mass of swollen bruises.

I don't think I really want to think about what the dream was trying to tell me.

I avoid watching Emancipation, period. There were a couple nice moments in it, though.

I'm starting to think the "mass of swollen bruises" was foreshadowing for the condition of my face today. Went to bed last night with a clear face and woke up with splotchy, blemish-ridden skin. That's just cruel.
