American English already incorporates this at a basic level... neighbor vs neighbour, licorice vs liquorice, hiccup vs hiccough. But there is a point where it all becomes ridiculous, and one has to wonder why the same effort isn't put into learning English as it is, instead of some bizarre conept of English as it "should" be.

I tend to prefer British spellings, in any case. :P

So, if this eventually happens, will it then be okay to tell someone to "go fuck yourself" once the correct spelling has become "go fuk yorself"?
