Dear Then/Than Manglers,

Just because you say than improperly does not mean that it is spelled 'then.' Then is its own word and it would really appreciate it if you took the time to understand it and use it properly. If you would like a lesson or 200 in how to determine the difference between then and than, then please let me know. I'd think we'd all rather that than for me to go completely apeshit on some random person for being ill-educated about this particular issue.

But its just grammar. Schools no longer feel there students need to learn all those details. Their more focused on weather or not you get your point across then weather you said it exactly by the rules.

You better learn to think outside the box, cuz weir threw with the dam box!

(Give 'em 10 years: text messaging will be taught as a second language. Kindergarteners will be memorizing IMO and LOL and the definition of "ship", too. It will be hell, and we will long for the end of the world.)
