Dude in room right behind me, when I started to close the door upon the commencement of a meeting: Oh, can you please leave that open, or would we be interrupting you?

Me: Dude, sorry you're hot but I'm not going to be stuck here for an hour listening to discussion about Episcopal Retirement Communities, mmmkay?

And then I slid the door shut. Of course, I didn't really say that out loud.

It was hot in that room, but I feel no remorse at not being miserable just so they could be slightly less miserable. This week is Board meeting week, and I dread being locked in that room myself.

I had an interview this afternoon with an employement agency. Grette was very enthusiastic ;-) She had a job I was perfect for that started Thursday. I said I really needed to give 2 weeks notice. I'll keep you posted with further details.
