I finally remembered to go check my mail. In my box I discovered a T-shirt I got as a thank you for donating to a public radio station arrived today.

I have to say the world is a crazyass place if I fit into a women's extra large shirt perfectly - no room for growth. Unless I'm just completely unaware of my own body, I swear I should be wearing a medium or a large, but not an EXTRA large.

So am I screwed up about this or is the world?

Clothing sizes can be all over the place, depending on the brand. I've got medium t-shirts I can wear, and extra-larges that seem just large enough.

That's true. My son has some men's (not boys') size medium shirts that look like a child's size and he has some that look large enough for my husband. It's odd. He has some medium shirts that are just right, too. (I feel like Mama Bear. *g*)

Give away T shirts are often ones that have been mis-labelled in production and can't be sold....

It's the world, hon. They're making sizes smaller now. I work in a dress shop remember? Those darn sizes are just getting smaller, cause sizes that should fit, sizes that still fit in my closet no longer fit. It's a conspiracy I tell you!
