We had three weeks of nice weather. Now the rains have begun. See you next spring, unless I develop black mold or get mossed over or something.
Can't recall if I mentioned - colleague was granted her religious exception, which I still find to be absolutely ridiculous. So, I won't be getting that job. But the recent hire for another position had to quit; I could go for that one. We'll see. Still not convinced it's up my alley, but what I'm doing makes me miserable.
Speaking of miserable.

^After. I've read scathing reviews on using various epoxy paints for this type of project, but honestly it's so much better I will deal with the peeling paint when it happens.

I just saw a preview for the reboot of The 4400. Oddly, I just watched the original. Gotta say, not sure why we have to reboot things just to use the same name when it's clearly only loosely based on the original. The new version looks very "This is an allegory of current race relations" to me, which is fine but ... eh.
