I need to take a shower but it is so far away from my place on the sofa. Oh me oh my. What to do?
I slept till almost 8:30, but am still tired. Planted a garden yesterday. Basic. Tomatoes, lettuce, spinach, carrots, peas. I also tossed out some pumpkin and squash seeds, but I don't really have room for them and don't anticipate much. The squash seeds were from a store butternut, and are probably sterile.
Also squished an heirloom tomato from store to home, and rather than eat it all I planted half in the ground out of curiosity. Then I looked up how to regrow from scraps and nearly all sources say you're to get the seeds and dry them out and then plant. Whoops? Oh well. Since I was doing that, I also tossed a broccoli floret out there. LOL. So what if nothing happens with it? Fun experiment, anyway.
Today I just dug up a little and lay some mulch. Walked the dog (who got charged by another dog and, as he does, defended himself against mortal danger when the dog probably just wanted to sniff his butt - good times) and washed my car. My shoulder is absolutely killing me.
I really need to go to the doc, but here's the thing: my PCP is also the PCP for a friend of mine who happens to have suffered horrible side effects from the Moderna vaccine. That itself isn't the issue, it's that my PCP has poo-pooed her symptoms for months as anxiety. Folks, this is a person who was very active and fit - a runner and a go-getter - and she went from running five miles a day to barely being able to move. And that was called anxiety, despite the timing of the symptoms, etc. So, long story short - not sure how much faith I have in my doctor anymore.
For the record, friend has now been told her issues ARE tied to the vaccine, which is what she had suspected all along but was met with pretty extreme denial from more than just the PCP.
No, I haven't had the vaccine yet. Frankly, I'm not against it, and I know friend's experiences are outside the norm. I will likely get the vaccine. I'm just ... it's not a high priority quite yet. Y'know?
