Once monthly car trip to the groomer yesterday for Walter. I was too lazy to strap in his car seat, so he was loose in the car. I know, I know. Anyway, I had planned on doing a quick walk to release some of his pent up anxiety from the car ride, so turned onto some side streets and headed for the river walk. Suddenly, my transmission started acting up. I had a few minutes of blind panic...then realized W had knocked the gear shift over into manual! I'd been stuck in 1st.

Then, post hike and post nail trim, I popped into the grocery store to pick up one item. A lady was pulling out as I was pulling in and she pulled back in, motioned for me to unroll my window. She felt the need to tell me that my car would warm up, and I shouldn't leave W in there. Which is fine, I suppose, but unnecessary concern. It was 70F out, I was literally going to be in the store for five minutes, and I left both windows down part way. I would never have made the stop had it been, say, ten degrees warmer, as earlier this week we got into the 80s and it was 102 in my car after leaving it parked at work. We are all so quick to police others these days.

Speaking of W:
Pitiable
^I forget he's a small dog. Look how big that ball is next to his head. Bwahaha.

The Bluest
^Hank's eye is getting that crackle effect that happens when a Siamese gets older. He's only four, we'll see how it progresses. What a honey. ♥

Dew Web
^Love a foggy morning.

Strutting Heron
^Love herons.

Getting a new kitchen faucet installed tomorrow. Would like to get new hardware for kitchen drawers and cabinets. Counted the need for 24... found a pack of 25. Sweet! Then realized I'd missed the stupid cabinet above the fridge, so in reality I need 26. ARGH. Woe is me. ;)
