Oct. 6th, 2019 09:18 amFriday night when I took Walter out, we heard rustling from the side of the house. I thought, "Oh, the deer is back." and moved to see if we could see him. Out of the dark came toddling ... a skunk! Y'all, I have never moved so fast to get back into the house. I should have known; Walter was way too interested.
Yesterday, I left a package by my mailbox for the postman to pick up. I watched him walk by, look down at the package and then leave it there! I nearly chased him down the street, but I was good. I just grumbled. I mean isn't that their job??
^One of many that's been around the office lately. Apparently some were released. This guy was headed toward the road, and I was trying to get him to turn around and go the other way. He wasn't amused with me.
^This snake was lying on the path, straight. I thought maybe it was dead, but then when I prodded its tail with my toe, it started hissing. I was trying to get a shot of it, when Walter got in the way and disturbed it. It slithered away very quickly after he investigated it. Photo hasn't got the best focus, because, well, dog.
