Sep. 15th, 2019 10:28 amAs I walked Walter this AM, I remembered that I need to get a new rain jacket. Mine no longer functions as a rain barrier AT ALL and I was soaked through before we'd gotten a block. I'll forego eBay this time - the jacket I bought last time was listed as rain proof, but it in no way protects from anything other than a light mist.
Going to make a pot of eggplant lasagna for this week's dinners. I'd fallen out of the habit of food prepping, but honestly, it really helps at night to not have to prepare anything from scratch. Eggplant because I've been shopping the "these vegetables are ugly so we're discounting them" bin at the store. A couple of dings on the outside of things has never bothered me and this way I'm getting a little variety, anyway. It's a lot of zucchini, other squash and peppers, though I have gotten a sizeable bag of red potatoes there before.
Anywhooo.
^Was walking and heard rustling. Looked over and this guy was eating the seeds out of a birdfeeder. I don't know if that's more endearing or sad. He, however, is adorable.
^So is he.
^I dunno.
That's it for this week. The whole week was a blur, to be honest.
