Cats and Dogs, Getting Along Together
Sep. 14th, 2019 03:26 pmNot quite. Walter will lift his lip at Roy if he gets too close, but then huffs and moves away. Best buds my crew will never be!
But the actual point is, I think Walter has some fleas or allergies or both. He's itching a lot and looks to be getting some hot spots. Looked up some home remedies. Naturally, they mostly involve essential oils, which are toxic to the cats. Just because they don't cuddle together doesn't mean there couldn't be transfer from Walter onto shared spaces. So, that's out. Hmm. Gave him a bath with hypo-allergenic shampoo, but mostly because he found some deer poo in the back yard he just HAD to roll in.
Anyway, cats and dogs are just different to each other and W might have to suffer a bit while I figure out what I can do for him without endangering my favorite critters.
Had an Oh Henry! bar for the first time in my life today and now I feel sad I've never had one before. So much wasted time! Baby Ruth are better, but Oh Henry! is now toward the top of my candy bar list.
Also, I will never go keto. Half the office at work does it now and it's literally 85% of what they talk about. It's like they've been body swapped with aliens. I believe in moderation, not elimination. Any diet that says I can't eat pineapple can go jump off a cliff.
