Cross your fingers!
Aug. 10th, 2007 07:12 pmI just saw a great apartment. It's a MIL, which isn't ideal, BUT rent includes tv/all utilities and washer/dryer on site. And it's technically a studio, but the sleeping area (which I think is actually bigger than the living area) is tucked through a wide door. I'd really enjoy living there, I think. It's a bit further out than I'm used to now (it's right next to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery/QA Columbarium), but I could adapt. The kitchen's bigger than mine, the bathroom is shower only (which sucks, but I'd get used to that as well) and it does lack natural sunlight. The #2 stops right behind the house, which would help with the being in the boonies aspect.
Unfortunately, I think it's kind of a "who made a good impression/was memorable" selection process for the people upstairs, and I SUCK at that. I doubt I'll get a call back, but it would be nice.
And this apartment, reasonably sized with utilities and TV covered in rent? $710. That's a STEAL, which means about a billion people probably filled out applications.
