Hot Cheese

Last night when I was eating dinner, a tiny strand of hot cheese dangled off the fork and landed on my chin. It was very hot cheese. I have a small, oblong burn mark. It's just like that time I accidentally stuck a hot match-head on my chin (don't ask). Oy.

Rewatched SPN last night, and I still can't believe they did that. :( I did like it much better this time, though. The coffee cup scene was very well executed. It broke my heart and what did John say to Dean? Argh.

Back to work. I kind of didn't want to come back, but not because I hate it so much as deep down I'm a lazy, lazy girl. And now I must go. I've lots to do.

I really don't get people

Or how it has become so easy for people to go from "I'm angry" to "I'm angry and I'm going to shoot people who have no direct relation to the source of my anger." I know I've said it before, but I still don't get it.

What happened to these people that they lack the mechanism to understand right from wrong courses of action? Seriously, is society being taken over by sociopaths who either have no conscience or simply lack reason? And if so, is there an underlying reason that someone, somewhere should really be checking into (instead of, oh, say, spending millions of dollars on an ill-begotten war) and looking to fix?

People suck.

I'm obsessed

I never should have indulged in the black & white cookie, because now I can't stop thinking about how yummy it was. I've found a couple recipes, but haven't figured out if there's a way to convert some of the enriched white and refined ingredients to some that are slightly more nutritious. Definitely not with the confectioner's sugar, I suspect.

Hmmm.

And no Dark Angel tonight. :( I missed the last episode. Come to think of it, I've never seen the first episode of that show, either. *grumble*

My tummy hurts from the ab crunches. I've been slacking. Must force myself to lift a weight or two.

Oh, and PS - my previous tummy issues have disappeared.
