Mismatched socks

Have you ever had an evening when you come home and realize that you've had your underwear inside out, or had one blue sock and one black sock on? I once interviewed wearing navy stockings when I meant to be wearing black. Didn't get the job.

Anyway, I got up this morning...and discovered that my apartment door hadn't clicked all the way shut, and I had neglected to deadbolt. Sometime during the course of the night, air currents made it pop open. I probably slept all night long with the door opwn, which is just as bad as leaving my keys in the lock, eh? Oy vey. Talk about freaking me out.

Also, it must be See People You Used To Know Month or something. I have been seeing more people from the Vermin Inn than I ever have before. #307, #129, #231, #324 (the cute couple that was there before the whore - they're so cute, the younger one especially, and now they have more dogs), #124, #319, #301, #226...they just keep popping up out of the woodwork. Fortunately, I have a forgettable face and no one recognizes me back. ;)

Whomever the genius is who decided it would be cute to smush people's names who are dating (or, in fictional terms, who people want paired up) together should be put in prison. Or dipped in hot oil. Brangelina? Oy, that's lame.

How did that become so mainstream that the media does it now? It was bad enough in fandom.
