I forgot I had my Happy Head roll-on from Escents! It's not a permanent cure for a headache, but it sure helps. Feels all tingly.

I need new icons again. I also need to start doing yoga again. Those things are unrelated.

Have you seen a doctor about these headaches? I ask because I've been having headaches lately, too, and they've knocked me on my keister a couple of times. I just went last Friday and they're running a bunch of bloodwork to make certain but I have an underlying sinus infection that I wasn't really aware of. Letting that go unaddressed could have led to worse...so I'm glad I went.

If you have frequent headaches, it might be worth seeing a doctor. Relief might be as simple as taking Claritin - or it might mean something more serious needs to be addressed.

No, and I know I should. I really hate going to the doctor, and this'll be the first time since a job/insurance change. I know. No excuse. I'm pretty sure the last big batch of headache was a hormonal thing - lately, instead of other unpleasantries I get a week-long headache. This last brutal one really was caused by the brochures.

What's a Happy Head roll-on? I've never heard of such a thing. I'm imagining something like roll-on deodorant that you put on your head. *g*

Basically, you're right. It's a concentrated bottle of peppermint essential oil, with a little bit of lavender EO and a carrier oil. It really does feel great to roll it on the nape of the neck, just below the hairline. Some put it on temples as well, but that's a bit too close to my eyes for my comfort. I'm not fond of lavender, so if I don't have to smell it, it's a good thing. ;)

Oooh, that does sound nice. I actually like lavender (the scent, that is). That's supposed to be good for stress.

Yeah. I've just found that it doesn't sit well with me, usually. In the headache relief thing, the peppermint is 90% of the concoction so it drowns out the lavender enough.
