Forty-eighth week

Yesterday, as Walter and I walked around the middle school and the track, a big black lab came bounding down onto the field and headed straight for us. Not a person in sight. I had to haul Walter into my arms, because, well, you know, he's not dog friendly. Eventually, some jackass guy finally wandered into sight - he had to be a good 100 yards behind his dog, certainly far enough away that he had no sight line on his animal - and then never bothered to call the dog back at all. Also? Big signage posted: all dogs must be on leash.
The only good thing about the experience was I didn't have to hear the odious, "Don't worry, he's friendly!" call out. Because, y'know, the owner had no idea what his dog was doing or where it was going. Grrr.

^I love this frog, makes me smile.

These last three and a half days have flown. Telling sign: Mon-Wed last week I had extreme tension headache and my RA was flaring big time. Thurs-current, no headaches, flare up subsided. Have I mentioned I hate my job now?
