Forty-third Week

superbadgirlAnyone want to come mow my lawn? I really need to. Make hay when the sun shines and all. It doesn't look too shaggy.
One week till we go "live" on new work system. My anxiety is high.
^Right now, the best part of the job is being close to the shelter for my mental health lunch breaks. Look at that little fluffy kitty. She has been adopted, naturally, but oh - she was a joy-maker.
^Neighbor a ways down rented thirteen goats to clear a hillside. This one seems to have some kind of horn deformity. Unique!
^Streeeeetch.
^This one was very interested in W and I, followed us for a bit and chatted.
^OMG, this kitten. I'd say he's about 5-6 months old now. Sometimes in the morning he'll follow us. He's extremely gregarious, and unafraid of W, so I have to make sure he stays up high or far enough away - W sees outdoor kitties as a chance to act on impulses I know he has toward my crew.
We're in our first cool snap. I've had to put on my puffy coat when out walking in the AM. I love it. First furnace usage this AM, I should really have it serviced. It probably could use a new filter.
Making potato and veg gratin for dinners this week. Gosh, what would I do without my crock pot?
