Today I was allowed to sleep until 7:01, and then W only wanted to walk half a block. What a great start to the day! Not even joking, it's usually 5:00 wake up and a half hour walk on weekends.

However, I'm still tired.

Into the woods
^Little path by the animal shelter

Maya
^Terrible photo quality, but this dog made me chuckle a lot. Toss the big squeaky ball, and she run to get it and trot back, slap the ball on my thigh and proceed to squeak and squeak. You probably had to be there.

Hope Floats
^This little market was purchased last December. Reopened in March after a big reno. Closed in March due to pandemic. New owners sold and moved back to city. Locals bought and reopened. It's too spendy for me to just casually eat at (Sorry, $12 for a sandwich?) and always has been, but it's still a nice neighborhood spot. Eventually I'll stop in, but I usually have Walter and haven't so far

Beetle
^Closest to a Halloweeny photo this week.

I bought candy again this year, but am not sure that I'll have any trick or treaters stop by. If it's decent out, I plan to sit outside wearing scrubs and face mask, toss candy at kids. Thought about adding some fake blood and a butcher knife, but eh. Seems like too much work. ;)

Do you shoot these photos with a phone? I'm interested in the last - it looks like a tilt-shift effect created by adding un-sharpen in a halo/circle around the focus.

haha

I think I noticed because it's a very strong effect and it wasn't that blurred inwards, and also I didn't think the log was spherical haha.
