My wireless router has been dropping a lot lately. Internet up, internet down, internet up, yadda. So, I finally broke down and ordered a new router ... and my connection hasn't faltered ONCE since I pushed "purchase". What the heck.

I've also made an appointment - doctor squeezing me in AFTER HOURS - for something I've been experiencing. Let's just say women in my family are prone to cysts and leave it at that. Anyway, appointment made; pain mostly gone. What the heck.

ETA: new mail box installed, it was much easier than I'd feared - the screws holding the old box in place were very rusted, and I'd thought they'd pose a problem. Took me about five minutes to swap boxes. Yay me!

I've also steam mopped 80% of my house. Best. Investment. Ever. My bathroom floor looks great, and here's to hoping a weekly steam will keep it that way. I did choose to steam, then scrub it hard to really get at the loosened grime.

Still going strong, no dropping! Grrr. Oh well, I guess I have the new router when it finally does give up the ghost. After seven years, it seems likely to happen.
