Vet and Pet Stats
Aug. 22nd, 2018 07:33 pmPickle's rodent ulcer is coming back. Scheduled her for visit with vet number six, across the state border. The plus: affordable, friendly, not apt to push unnecessary vaccines on indoor only cats, etc. The minuses, no action recommended for Pickle's already decaying teeth. Action meaning a pro cleaning. Next year, probably. I am considering getting them chicken wings to gnaw on once a week.
Pickle weighs in at a whopping 6.15 pounds...of pure spit and vinegar. She's already forgiven me, though, is on my lap now.
Also brought Hank in. He has gingivitis too, and tartar. Sigh. Otherwise healthy. Solidly built. I seriously thought he'd be over ten pounds. Close to eleven. Nope. 8.9 pounds. All belly. He yowled the whole way there and back. Also peed.
He has NOT forgiven me.
