The whole playing-on-our-sense-of-nostalgia isn't a new advertising trick. Sometimes it doesn't work - I am in no way tempted to buy Froot Loops, because those two adults playing Mario Bros and being obnoxious. Honda is being blatant about it, abusing Strawberry Shortcake, Fisher Price people and Stretch Armstrong
