There's always time for alpacas!

superbadgirlFinally got out to see the cria born a couple of weeks ago:
Her name is Greta. She is very soft and sweeeeeetomg.
Run, Greta, run! So. Cute.
A bunch of 'em looking for grain. It was seriously soooo adorbs. The woman farmer went through each of the pens to get to the one the cria was romping around in. As soon as the alpacas saw her enter, they bounded to her, expecting food.
This is not the same aloof one from my first visit. She was a she. This is a one year old he. :)

Also, there were puppies. I only got a good shot of Lola here, but there were also two fluffy white ones I just wanted to snuggle with all afternoon.
The alpacas were much closer this time, and much more interested in what we were doing - I think because the woman farmer was poking through them. I crouched to take a picture of another small dog and that apparently intrigues alpacas. They stuck their heads out and sniffed me. D'awww.
I want one more than ever now. ;)
