What was lost is now found. Kind of. Apparently, I only picked up the phone from the work car seat mentally, because there it sat. I know where it is now, whew, but what I don't remember are the alarm codes for my office building. I've only been there for three full days, okay, and I've got a LOT of numbers pounded into my head since then. I didn't want to risk going in and not remembering the code, and it's not like I could call my manager to have her walk me through it.
Because the phone is in the car. ;)
So, I'll be phoneless until Monday, when I drive in to pick up the car to go somewhere else for training. One of my coworkers shows up at 7 AM, so I won't have to worry about inputting any codes and I figure I can live for two days without a phone. I hope. Hmm.
I was totally prepared to have to shell out more money - and honestly, it would have given me motivation to find a new carrier, as mine goes dead within a quarter mile radius of the office.
