I remember feeling like I had to hide that I was getting Hardy Boys rather than Nancy Drew from the school library. LOL, I can remember trying to sneak them out so no one could see. Looking back, I don't know why. I think I felt like if I were going to read detective stories, I, as a girl, should be loyal to Nancy. Pffft.
Yeah, and that's where the buddy/sibling thing began for me, too.
