Ooh, I love Bandana!Daniel, but Boonie!Daniel also holds a very, very special place in my heart.
I think Bandana!Daniel might kick Boonie!Daniel's butt, but Boonie!Daniel is the woobie... Mostly because I think he stopped wearing the boonie most of the time after a certain point, so I associate Boonie!Daniel with the younger, goofier, less military, more vulnerable Daniel.
