After three, eczema-free months, it's flared up again. :( I honestly don't think I'd even mind that much if it wasn't on my pointer and middle fingers on my right hand. But it's uncomfortable, damnit. Ugly, too, but mostly it's the discomfort I hate.


Unrelatedly, I think that someone needs to make a vid using The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir's I Never Thought I Could Feel This Way For a Boy.

Mine did, too. Just yesterday. It's better today after slathering it with lotion.

I use the hydrocortisone liberally. It helps with the itch, but my fingers get swollen, too, and it doesn't really help with that. :(

The *only* thing that works for me is heavy duty hand lotion, liberally applied. If I catch it right at the start, I can head off a bad outbreak.

I do have one hand cream that works, but it also has a scent I can't stand. I can only use it at night, because it is so potent the smell lingers after multiple hand-washings and gets in the taste of food when I'm cooking. Blech.

EW! Check out the Neutrogena lotions. I can't remember the specific name of the one I use, but it's in a tube.
