The plan was to walk around downtown a bit. We stumbled across a place that someone had recommended to a NYC person, and by that time I think we were all starving so we went in. It was tasty (I know you're not a meat eater - I had the king salmon and it was very, very good), but I'm not a person who thinks it's reasonable to pay $30 for a plate of food that looks and tastes great but doesn't fill you up. ;)
Back at the mansion, I ended up turning on my mp3 player, because the place settles at night and those sounds are disconcerting when you're alone. Probably not a good idea. Any old ghost could have sneaked up right behind me... Hee.
